Receive Only antennas are important equipment for communication and broadcasting, and are suitable for various wireless communication systems. Correct installation can not only improve signal quality, but also extend the service life of the equipment. Recently, we are producing a batch of 5 sets of 3.7 meters receive only antennas and 9 sets of 4.5 meters receive only antennas for customers. During this period, we tested and installed 1 set of 4.5 meters antennas at our workshop, which operates well. Taking the 4.5-meter receive only antenna as an example, this article will introduce the steps and precautions for installing Receive Only antennas in detail.

1. Unpacking and Inspection
2. Prepare installation tools
3. Receive Only antenna Installation steps
3.1 Choose the installation site
3.2 Pour the foundation according to the foundation drawing and wait 15-20 days

After the antenna system is installed, the antenna system should be in a safe state.

When abnormal sounds or situations occur, the antenna system should be turned off immediately until the fault is eliminated. Under normal working conditions, the Receive Only antenna should be regularly inspected and maintained, and the service life of the antenna should be at least 10 years.

ANTESKY SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY INC. was built in 1985, we're mainly engaged in the design and manufacture of satellite communication large satellite dish,VSAT antenna,TVRO antenna, Portable flyaway antenna and relevant control and tracking system. We have a selected range of antenna in the frequency band, such as C-band, Ku-band, X-band, L-band, S-band, Ka-band, DBS-band.

Here is a useful link that may be helpful.

It is about how to check that the rim of the antenna is accurately flat. Aim for an accuracy approaching 1/10th of the wavelength of the frequency in use.

It involves stretching strings or fishing lines across the dish in a triangular pattern. Go here How to make the rim of a parabolic antenna flat, using fishing line

I hope that helps.
