Dear member,

I want to build a mobile vsat that points itself automatically to the satellite. Can anyone provide me with information like how to design it,  recommended components: GPS, Compass chip, Satmeter chip etc?

Any paper written about the design?

Thanks

Try searching Google with search words like:

< design mobile satellite antenna >

< satellite mobile tracking antenna >

etc.

Best regards, Eric.

We have some complete kits 1.2 mobile Automatic dish  that are Lacuna ex Danish Army they would normally cost £6500 new, we can clear them at £875 each (4 left ) if your interested.

Could you please email me more information about it ?

Datasheet?
Condition? (Good, Fair) with explanation if there are any damages?
Packed or need to be deassembled?
Location of systems (UK, Iraq etc)

Dear Sir

Sorry I did not get back to you before, we are going to take some digital photographs of the 4 systems in our warehouse , they are here in the UK.

These were sold to Danish Army but they are not really suitable for Army use where they are being hauled around a conflict area, if you want to use them for a project where you need an Automatic system as long as you are willing to set them up and understand the programming they should be fine  ……I am going to ask Lacuna if they can help you if you buy them to provide useful information in using them but at the moment we have no real market for secondhand systems so we just want to clear them out .

Best Regards
