POINT TO POINT SATELLITE BACKHAUL

I am interested if there is any provider out there who can backhaul for me a link of 2MB to be available in the other site. What will be the cost implications interms of hardware and space segment costs? Malachy

You need to tell us where is the uplink site and where is the downlink site.

How long do you want the service for ?

If for 1 year then maybe $9,000 to $18,000 per month (2 Mbit/s). If for 15 minutes, an hour or day etc then far more than pro rata. It may be possible to hire an outside broadcast TV uplink truck for a short event.

If you want a long term two way service, 2 Mbit/s in each diorection and the uplink and downlink sites are co-coverage then use Comtech PCMA to virtually halve the space segment costs.
