Background

In 2007 LOGCS expanded from a company that only supplied and recruited British ex-military staff, to a company providing 'local' Engineers for local work in all countries that they operated in.

This has proved to be an outstanding success with huge costs, time and logistical savings to customers and also enabling LOGCS to 'put something back' into the communities where they were providing these services.

This has enabled LOGCS to go from strength to strength, by October of 2009 it had expanded its reach and passed the 100 countries mark, providing local VSAT installation and engineering services on various antennas from 1.2m to 16m diameter.

LOGCS employs at total of 235 engineers on contract worldwide, their largest Continental market is currently Africa with largest Country market being Nigeria where we currently have 19 engineers and 3 managers. The fastest growing markets are Africa and Asia.

Services

In every country LOGCS can provide VSAT services, these include:
• Site Survey, • Civil Works, • Antenna and IDU installation, • Antenna Commissioning, • Maintenance.

In some countries they can help with Licenses, Space Segment and Equipment. They have carried out satellite antenna installations in over 100 countries from Haiti to Fiji, from Holland to Madagascar (see list to the upper right). Most of LOGCS's "bread and butter" work is carried out on small VSATs from 1.2m to 4.6m, but they also have engineers that are trained to install the larger earth stations from 7m to 16m diameter.

Maritime satellite communications

they have engineers trained to install SeaTel antennas offshore.

Logistica Communication Services is committed to keeping up with industry standards and training, we currently have 16 engineers trained to Advanced Installation and Maintenance standard by the Global Vsat Forum (www.gvf.org) and we currently have 34 engineers taking the course. We intend to have all our engineers through this course within the next 18 months.
