Hi folks,

I am very new to this field and need some honest guidance. Is there a website or some documentation that can teach me how to setup a 2-way satellite using Linkstar system?

Any help is welcome ...
Thanks

There should be an abbreviated quick set-up instruction sheet in the box.  Failing that, this download (1.9 Mbytes) is an alternative image of the same instruction sheet.  https://www.satsig.net/linkstar/link-star-install-glossy.pdf
Be warned of the large file size.

Read all the warnings slowly and carefully before you do anything else.

Follow instructions from your service provider regarding what configuration string to type in and do it exactly correctly.
Go to https://www.satsig.net/ssazelm.htm for dish pointing and polarisation angles.
You don't really need a satellite meter or spectrum analyser if you can position the indoor unit so it is visible from the dish.  Just swing the dish till the rx flashes green.  Peak up using tcmp command about 40 - 50 times while adjusting the nuts in 1/6th turn increments till the BER is down to the exact centre of the minimum, typically around 0.00005
Best regards, Eric.
