Hi,

I already purchased "Monster Satellite Finder". Here is the link to see:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004Y3U6/sr=8-2/qid=1155688923/ref=sr_1_2/00...

Can I use  it for aligning my Ku-band antenna ?

Those cheap meters aren't much good for anything other than initially finding a Ku-band satellite. It's just a gross indicator, the meter won't even tell you if it's the right satellite. The needle moves when any Ku-band frequency is detected - could even be a traffic signal, radar detector, et cetera. It's up to the operator to determine if/when the CORRECT satellite has been detected. Once it helps you locate the satellite of choice, it's pretty much useless. Subsequent fine tuning is generally directed by error rate for data signals, and video quality for TV
