26 sites need internet access - In Sudan

Dear All,

We have 26 location, each will need a VSAT, we want to rent a dedicated pool and it is restricted for those 26 sites only, all are inside Sudan, and all accross Sudan (shareable only by those 26 sites).

The bandwidth (speed) for each site is controlable by an application (Web interface/Program), e.g we can increase or decrease the amount of the speed for any terminal.

Technology we are looking for each remote site is: Linkstar modem or iDirect.

Provide all your offers via Ku-Band and C-Band, the available band.

This tender started 10 days ago and will end at next Wed. (6/12/2006).

Korea, Cuba, Syria and Iran. iDirect resellers who provide equipment or services to Sudan will have their contracts terminated. US companies who participate may be subject to large fines and/or imprisonment.

However, they will both offer solutions from a "technical" perspective that can be far more cost effective than DVB/SCPC. Unfortunately they aren't an option for Sudan without an export exception certificate - which is very difficult to obtain. Pat
