HI, I'm just back from setting up two VSAT stations in Ghana (Accra) and Benin (Cotonou). This time I had enourmes dificulties getting the QPSKBER rates down. I was not able to reach the requested 0.000XXX. Antenna Type used Andrew 123, 1,2m
The Serve (Internet Broadband over W3A worked fine and HUB Operator told me that service level was OK.

I'm just wondering why in this case the QPSKBER rate was not adjustable. In other occasions I have sucessfully got the 0.000XX and even 0.0000XX with same equipment but further south (Kenia, Uganda, Congo)

Any one who has an Idea ?

Hi,

I have a top-expert linkstar installer in Accra and also in Cameroon that can travel to Benin. If you do have a problem I can dispatch them to the two site to troubleshoot the problem.
Feel free to contact me offline.
