hi

We have modem some of oue terminals to New inroute/network.i experienced nowadays that some terminals loose RX and get locked to RX after a reset from remote or automatically.site engineers when visited the site found such problem and reported but RX recovered automatically.i am sure this is not the problem of modem but it experienced more than 10 terminals either of anyone.

How is this being observed?  From a user standpoint or are you a Hub operator?

Is it happening at the same time of day when it happens?

Your inroutes will naturally go idle if the modems lose lock on the TDM downstream carrier.  No surprise there.

Need more info before we can proceed.

Better, keep a Co-Located remote with your new inroute and Monitor thru Spectrum with Max and Min hold. This way, you can make sure the problem is from RF side or Modem (remote) itself. Check for any interference on your DS carrier as well as the new in-route carrier. Ofcourse make sure P1dB is done correctly and the VSAT/Remote Antenna is point to Main-Lobe. I assume, the DS Power set as per Linkbudget. If every thing OK, then the Remote should not loose the Sync.

Hope this helps..!
