Those of you who have now installed Tooway (I still have no idea how many you are!!) can you tell me the total time it took to get Tooway installed and fully operational. This is from opening the box to being online.

Speaking as a professional installer, the time it takes to install well depends to a large extent on where the installation has to be.
The easiest place to locate the dish is rarely the best esthetically for the property.
If the dish is set up on the ground and the modem just connected a few metres away all it takes the time to drill the holes, fix the 6 bolts, connect the modem, align and configure the system. Perhaps an hour.
Some installers do not secure and tidy the cable runs so its worth checking their terms and conditions if you use one.
We, however, spend upwards of an hour looking for the best esthetically pleasing location for the property and then run the cables sympathetically to secure and hide them to the indoor modem site.
After the modem is configured and working we then spend whatever time it takes to set up existing or new wireless networks and make sure that all is working before we leave. All included in the installation.
Typically we find that 6 to 8 hours is normal for one of our installations, although it can be longer.
So in answer to your question, 45 mins to just put it up in an easy position or all day to get the perfect position and tidy installation.
