VPN_Again

I would like to hear from anyone that has used or setup any VPN product designed to work WITH the limitations created by vsat service.
I know of many companies advertising solutions, but seldom hear of any direct postings anywhere on the internet that "xxxxx" hardware/software solved all my problems.
I am very aware of all the problems, and I know of various solutions, just have not had a chance to try them all out for various requirements.
Advice from users, or consultants that have proved direct solutions with references would be great.
I know that some vsat VPN  targeted products exist, what is your experience with them?
