Linux needs to be loaded first.

If you can get to a linux prompt, then the packages and opt can be dropped on root, unzipped, and installed.

Can you get to a linnux prompt?

What model iDirect? 3100?  500? 7350?

iDS version?

Reason I ask, is there are additional requirements for 3100 series remote (an upgrade prep pkg is necessary).
