Hello everyone,

I have problems with a site that is on iDirect 3100-NB. It keeps dropping off the network. Is the limitation of the 200 Kbps on the iDirect 3100NB on the uplink be causing this issue. The Upstream carrier the remote is on is for 512kbps but the remote has a MIR of 128kbps on the uplink.

Regards

What does time slot utilization look like in the upstreams? Do you have an "free slots?"

Right click the inroute group (directly above the modem) and select TIME PLAN.  Take a look at allocation tab (2nd tab) and ensure you are not seeing a 0-zero in the "free slots" column.

I will be the first to tell you that I am not extremely knowledgeable in NB operations (specifically as they apply to iDirect platforms).  I dont think they vary much from wideband ops, but I cannot say for certain that is the case.  Anyone else with NB experience is welcome to join in.
