Yes there is a lot of problems with the TI at C Band and the Wimax uses a frequency that upsets the C Band carriers , we have always seen lots of issues in the lower Bands , with Adaptive coding and higher QPSK it makes sense to move to Ku Band  DVBS2 , you would not go far wrong moving to W3a or Telstar 11 and converting your C Band systems to Ku for a peacefull life , if you like to know more mail me Anthony@bentleywalker.com

Hi,

There could be inteferences from Wimax, espeically in Luanda as Angola Telecom distribute internet connection by wimax all over the city.

What exactly do you see? What is the frequency you are trying to work and what do you experience?

Hi
You are correct - especially in Luanda CBD.
I spent 2 weeks trying to find a solution to the problem. The WiMAX was causing all sorts of problems for us there.

Are you currently a contractor?
