An experienced VSAT Engineer is looking for opportunities/assignments in VSAT/Satellite Communications. Following is the current experience synopsis:
2 years of rich experience of configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting and managing the smooth operation of Broadband via Satellite Hubs (ViaSat and iDirect).
Identifying prospective clients, mapping their requirements and designing of proposals & conducting techno-commercial presentations for new business development and providing technical support to Sales/Presales team. Also involved in coordination with vendors for equipment and service provisioning.
Certified by iDirect for Installation, Operation and Maintenance (IOM) of their SatCom Products.
Attended iDirect's Presales Training which includes Network Design Class for iNFINITI and Evolution (DVB-S2) Networks and Cellular Backhaul Training.
Frequency planning, up gradation and resource planning for upcoming customers.
Involvement in Technical Product Evaluation and Costing related to SatCom products.
Possess thorough knowledge about the competing Satcom products from different vendors that involves iDirect, Comtech, Radyne, Hughes, STM, Newtec and ND Satcom etc.
Successfully lead the team of Engineers for deployment and acceptance testing of Satellite Hub RF Equipment (4.8m Vertex Antenna & 100watt Redundant Vertex SSPAs).
Acted as Level -2 and Level -3 escalation for TAC.
Currently based in Pakistan but relocation will not be an issue.
