I am pretty sure you cannot SSH to an iDirect unit.  You can telnet to falcon all day long, but I have never (personally) SSHed to an iDirect.

If anyone has, please speak up.

You can SSH into a remote but you must first turn on the SSH daemon...this must be done while logged into the remote which most likely defeats the purpose of what you are going for.

Command string "service sshd start"

The normal method is to telnet in...Putty has a telnet option, just select telnet vice SSH as the connection type.

Thanks bod (K) for pointing that out.
backtrack, starting the sshd daemon would mean you are already sitting on console of that unit.

Do you have the log in for root level access to the box?

Try the default.
