Hi Eric,
I would like to ask you if i would like  to have the antenna alignment software on my computer, How can i have it permanently!!!; i may need it on the site. as you know most of the sites doesn't have internet access

Second. Please confirm me for the KU-Band installation is the part of Polarization Tilt means the LNB Inclination angle as you know it's very important Part when I am pointing the antenna.

also if you can provide the software by an image of the antenna acccording to the calculation with the inclinometer image back side the antenna. to be an added value for the software

Please let me know your FeedBack...

Thanks
Ahmed Maher

Eric's software is tied to online files. Hence, it's an online calculator. If you want a standalone AZ/EL/POL calculator, I recommend https://vps.arachnoid.com/satfinder/

You can download it at https://fileshunt.com/rapidshare.php?file=satellite+finder

Thanks for your help, but can you please help me by another link as this RapidShare one is not working..!!!

Also i have a question for the LNB Polarization. when i calculate the angle and it's negative so if i am facing the main reflector and i face the LNB and my back to the sky .... i have to rotate the LNB to the Right..!!!

Please Correct me if i am confused.

Thanks

Hmmm, worked for me. Try https://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/win/15945 If that doesn't work, simply Google with keywords "satellite" "finder" and "download". The latest is v4.9.1242

For equatorial geosynchronous satellites that use linear polarization:
Positive/negative POL (or skew) may be more easily envisioned from behind the dish - facing the satellite. If you're in the northern hemisphere, first determine where south is. If your target satellite is west of south, rotate the dish to the right as viewed from the rear. If your satellite assignment is east of south rotate the dish to the left.

If you're in the southern hemisphere, determine where north is. If your target satellite is west of north, rotate to the left. If your satellite assignment is east of north rotate to the right.
