Dear Sir ,

What are maximum no. of sessions we can open in Idirect 3000 series modem

What are the max no of sessions we can open in IDrect other seris modem . Does it depend upon the band width parameters ..

The 3100 and X3 support around 1,000 TCP and cRTP sessions while the 5000 series and X5 support about 1,500 session each. There is no exact limit, this is an approximation. If you are having issues with too many sessions you need to determine what is causing them, normally a virus or some unwanted application.

I have faced this problem before and I have got to disable NAT to solve the issue. it most probably due to some virus on the LAN but I was thinking of some software bug on the modem is that possible?
