zizo9227 Member ★★ Offline Posts: 19	Reply #1 - Sep 13^th, 2010 at 8:29am Symbol rate= data rate/FEC rate/ modulation spectral efficiency �exp: If your link is 2MB and using 3/4 TPC and QPSK modulation, your symbol rate will be � � symbol rate=2048/(3/4)/2= 1365.33 ksps The bandwidth (kHz) required on satellite will be equal to the symbol rate times spacing (1.4 or 1.3)
