WAFA has just launched its low cost  C-Band Services into Africa on iDirect X3 platform - just using 1.8m dish and 2 Watt BUC.

The satellite used is Eutelsat's W2A and services provided are unlimited 1:1 or, with sharing ratios of 1:5 and 1:10, without FAP.   *
