You are invited to contribute to a magazine article....

The feature will consider how satellites are currently being used by businesses and government agencies in South Asia to supply corporate networks, internet services, etc. I am keen to find out what actual product packages from vendors are presently available to communication service providers such as ISPs in southern Asia.

...
‘South Asian Wireless Communications’ covers Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, The Maldives and Sri Lanka.

Its remit DOES NOT include China, Japan, the Philippines, etc, or the ‘Tiger’ economies of South & east Asia (such as Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan and Singapore.)

An article about satellite applications for business customers will be published in the 1Q 2011 issue of ‘South Asian Wireless Communications’.

What packages are currently available?

What are ISPs looking for?

What are the trends?

I would be pleased to hear from satcoms operators, ISPs, marketing personnel, PR agencies, consultancies, analysts, and organisations concerned with this area.

Deadline: 4pm UK time on Wednesday, 9 March 2011.
