Hi,

We have a HW VNO customer who'll be upgrading their network to iDX 2.1.2 from iDS7.0.7. They have their own NMS's and PP's which are not connected to our HNO NMS's and PP's

In iDX2.1 Upgrade Procedure it seems that they'll need IP connectivity towards our NMS which is running the Chassis Manager Server. (Page 37)

However we want to limit their access to our upstream network, and also we want to have limited access to their upstream network.

What is the  best way to configure such IP connectivity between NMS's sharing a Chassis, but residing on different Upstream and Tunnel switches?

VLAN? Access lists in Upstream routers?

normally we do it with zone based firewall on the Upstream router, or you may apply access-lists
