Azerspace-1 satellite is to be launched by the end of 2012 and will maintain a geostationary orbit at 46 degree East Longitude.

The satellite with its 2 switchable beams on Ku band will cover Europe and Central Asia. The whole of Africa and Central Asia & Europe will be involved by C band with its 2 switchable beams.

Azerspace-1 comprises 36 transponders (36 MHz each) of which 24 are C-band and 12 are Ku-band active transponders.

Here are the downlink EIRP coverage patterns for Azerspace-1 satellite:

...
Ku band: 10.95-11.2 / 13.75-14 GHz,   12 x 36 MHz transponders ( 120W each )  46 deg east orbit position

...
C band: 3.7-4.2 / 5.9-6.425 GHz,    24 x 36 MHz transponders  ( 65W each )   46 deg east orbit position

If you want to do sample link budgets these two pages below provide both the downlink EIRP and uplink G/T contour maps:
C band coverages: https://azercosmos.az/satellite-fleet/c-band/
Ku band coverages: https://azercosmos.az/satellite-fleet/ku-band/

Please contact Azercosmos regarding transponder leasing etc.
