Hosted Exchange Sync Issues / Slow

Hi all,

Does anyone know how to correctly setup a hosted exchange account in Outlook 2013 with compatible settings for Sat internet?

I run an office of 11 people in a rural location and we recently made the move to Tooway Sat Internet 100 plan. We have had quite a few issues with it but the most prominent is Outlook / Exchange behaving very erratically since the move.

A couple of the things are:

Constantly "Updating folders" message
Emails are delayed on arrival, often arrive in one lump hours after they were sent
Emails stuck in outbox and refuse to send
Outlook freezing / crashing - i think it is due to the fact it can't sync the folders.

Now i've been searching the internet and i can't find any information about optimal settings for Sat internet and exchange. I have found some info on slow connections which i will be testing out but i'm thinking it may be the extending ping that is causing some of the problems.

I'd be grateful for any advice you can share.
