Hi,

Just bought from eBay a viaSAT RM4-100, it seems is blocked by a provider, is there a way to find which provider has this block?
I would like to call the provider and negotiate the unblock of the device.

The MAC is: 00:A0:BC:49:64:A0

These modems are individually programmed/encoded to the service provider/reseller and customer account and purchase via ebay, amazon etc is not advised as they are regarded as unuseable.

You could try contacting a local reseller and asking, but you may not be successful, particularly if you have got a unit originally used in say North America and are trying to use it in Europe. Tell them the full model, serial and MAC numbers details of all the items you have.

Tell us how you get on. Good luck to you...
