Story:

When we purchased this communications trailer the electronic were old, and so we upgraded it. Dual MCL 400 watt amplifiers, dual converters, professional SpecAn and so on.

We spent $40,000 bringing it up to top condition, but because we still own it a couple of years later, spending money on the upgrade may have been a mistake.

Maybe a better approach is to offer it "rack ready".

In other words, for a really low price you can get the basic trailer with 1.8m AVL antenna a 15KV diesel generator with a fully air conditioned equipment bay. This can be your platform to build your own product for broadcast or emergency communications.

You can see in the photographs how the hatches open to allow for easy access to the components.

The trailer is fitted with a AVL 1.8M KU-Band antenna that features auto-acquisition software that will allow you to lock onto the satellite within a few minutes of parking.

Modulators, encoders and TWTA's need to be kept cool and this trailer has dual A/C units.

It also has a DirecTV antenna and TV receiver, get news updates whilst working in the field.

This is a 15KW diesel generator. Naturally it has battery start and provides sufficient power to run all of the equipment installed on the trailer, with additional power to spare for add-on equipment.

Large equipment bay, capable of holding amplifiers, modulator and other broadcast equipment.

Best of all the curtain comes down to hold the cool A/C air inside.
