iDirect Evolution X7 remote routers are now available. These new remote terminals are good for DVB-S2/ACM outlinks and A-TDMA/SCPC for the return links. A new feature is dual DVB-S2 demodulators each with its own RF chain.

Having two receive paths is interesting, raising the possibility of simultaneous reception from C and Ku bands or from two different satellites. I wonder if this which might be useful for receiving two overlapping beams on HTS satellites or two satellites in a LEO constellation during an orbit swap over.

iDirect Evolution X7 remote routers are for sale from VSATplus.
Email:  shop@vsatplus.com or go to their website iDirect Evolution X7 for sale
