Press: 19 October 2021:

The Pan-African technology group "Liquid Intelligent Technologies" has set up a terrestrial optic-fibre routing between the West and East coasts of Africa, connecting Muanda and Kuanda to Mombassa and Dar es Salam, via Ruanda, Kampala and Nairobi. I have the impression that this augments the souther route via Lusaka set up a year or more ago. Not sure.

See the new map below:
...

This fibre cable system passes many cities, towns and villages and offers hope fibre speed connections. Customer capacities available between 1 Mbps to 100Gbps.

If you are in or close to one of these routes where the cable passes and are considering satellite VSAT service then get advice about possible fibre alternatives that should be coming soon.

For more information contact: https://www.liquid.tech/local-offices

Best regards, Eric
