Renewing letsencrypt SSL certificates

This website is run at the minimum possible expenditure so we use the free letsencrypt service to obtain new SSL certificates every 2 - 3 months. This means that we are now an https web site with encryption between you and the server.

The pain is that we need to keep updating these certificates every 2 - 3 months to keep the web site working. The renewal process does not always run smoothly.
