You mean to reset factory default ?

not to reset factory default , if just reset i was did it
i wanna put some files on /sbin, /var or other
coz my idirect iQ desktop was kernel panic /sbin was lost
and some partition tmpfs was lost like active0 or factory
i was just trying using this command

console=ttyS0,115200n8 init=/bin/sh debug,earlyprintk=serial,ttyS0,115200n8,keep partition=factory maxcpus=4 finalcpus=4 isolcpus=1-3

Did you try connect with uart port from iQ remote?  you can use putty (serial port) to connect console and have access linux folders.

Set the putty serial port with
Speed baud 115200 bauds,
Data bits 8,
Stop bits 1,
Parity None,
Flow Control XON/XOFF.

Once the serial connection has been established towards the iQ remote, you could easily retrieve its LAN IPv4 address by connecting to the Linux operative system and, from there, entering the “ifconfig” command you can fix the ip to access and reinstall de image from iDirect by web browser as indicated in the installation manual.

iq-  linuxlogin: rootPassword: iDirect[root@iq-linux:active0:~] > ifconfig

eth1       Factory Management IP address.
eth1.1    User defined LAN IP address (admin VLAN)
