Dear Sir,

Hello, I would like to ask favor,  iDirect Hub (5IF/20 Slot) have 5 Timing Group and each group have own TX/RX interface and can use with different band and different satellite. Does any have experience with using same hub with Ku band and C band? Using #1 TG with Ku Band antenna and #2 TG using C Band antenna. My question is can we use same PP server and MNS server? Or need different PP server and MNS server?

Thank

Hi, you can use each IF slot/TG individually or combined as you need (5 IF interfaces supporting multiple bands and transponders on up to five satellites). The range frequency of each IF interface is L Band, so, you can use C band antennas and Ku Antennas (with the correct converters, LNB, HPA, and antenna) at the same time. On Evolution software you can use the same protocol processor ( same PPs) to work with different networks and use the same NMS where you can set the new network or networks, but you need considerate if the number of remotes are support for your PPs, so, you need a new sizing to your network if the number of remotes is large ( number PPs or need NMS distributed). However, is possible to use the same PPs and NMS with different networks ( C, KU, ...).
