IPsky2e and Gilat 360 in Africa ?

Have just had a look at the IPsky2e diagrams on the globaltt.com website. The indoor modem unit looks very like my Gilat 360e used for satellite broadband in UK.

Does anyone know if they are the same unit and could my 360e be used to receive satellite broadband in Africa?

If they are the same then what about the odu's - what are the specs for the offset etc?

Has anyone tried?

All the best.

If it was easy it would be boring Wink

Please enquire of sales@globaltt.com

Tell them also:

What size dish you have, what model and serial numbers for the LNB and BUC.   If you know the local oscillator frequency of the LNB that might be helpful.

Where in Africa you wish to operate?.  Review the maps on page https://www.satsig.net/ivsat-africa.htm

Best regards Eric.

it can only be used in africa, if the firmware is not less than 9.3.3 and always written at the back of the modem
