I'm a student of the university of high technology in Belgium. My thesis consists of the analysis of the infrastructure of internet connectivity in Africa and the analysis of the market of internet connectivity through Vsat systems.
May I ask you to give me information about: - the infrastructure and the situation of internet connectivity for these African countries :
Benin, Botswana, Cameroon, Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Republic of Ivory Coast, Gabon, Ghana, Equatorial Guinea, Kenya, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Uganda, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, anzania, Chad, Togo, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Central African Republic :
-> What's the present infrastructure of internet connectivity and its reliability in these countries -> What's the present/future breakdown of internet user connectivity (via cable, via satellite, via 3G etc) -> Is there a monopoly of internet connectivity ? Liberalization of the market? Is there any form of private competition in this specific market? -> Is internet via satellite banned? -> Who are the internet service providers and the virtual network operators in these countries ?
- Are there any future developments or infrastructure projects planned for internet connectivity?
If you don't have these details, may you forward me some contacts or relevant links/webpages in order to find out the information we require?
I look forward to receiving some information, and thank you very much for your cooperation.
Yours faithfully,
Laure
