space between two Antennas

Dear all

We want to install 3 antennas one 3.7m and two 4.5m.All three antennas are aligned to same satellite. My question is what is the best space to be set between them in case they are located horizontally at the same line ?

Notes:
- For more clarification please find attached pic.
- Antennas to 220 degree and 66.7 degree for elevation.
- All three antennas from Probecom.

If you want to be able to point any dish at any satellite in future the best arrangement is in a north-south line (not east-west). Space them apart so that, when aimed due south, at the top of the orbit arc with highest elevation angle, the beam of the one behind passes clear over the one in front, with a minimum of a few metres spacing. With a clear view east and west, each dish may point at any satellite, right down to the horizon.

An east-west layout with minimum spacing, will restrict future operations with satellites further to the east or west.

The 'best' layout you choose depends on your latitude and how much you need to be able to point antennas at any satellite, an of course, the cost of the land in-between!.
