Reset iDirect 3100 modem

Dear All;
I  don't know if there is a way to completely reset an iDirect 3100 series modem. I have one in with i can not  log. event iSite  could not detect the device. I've try  hyperterminal using console, but the modem behave stranger, constanly deliver an error message indicated physical problem.
I'll be greatfull if somme one could help me.

If it is behaving strange on console, you might have limited options.  When you connect on console what do you see for a prompt?  Is it a  > sign?  Or a # sign?

No promt, just tha  7 line error message coming permanently.  some time it ask me to  login. but when i type user as username and iDirect as password, it doesn work and the error continue appear.
Please is there a way to reset it completely?

When your are on that console, try control-X and see what it does.  If you can get to a prompt (>) you may be able to work thru it.

Yes there is a way but it is very difficult. try to log the hayper terminal in file and send it to me, maybe i could help you, or you could chat with me and see what we can do and how we could help you.

Hayperterminal> Transfer menu> Cupture file.

then stop it and send me the log file.
