I think people would like to know that the new Eutelsat / Skylogic TooWay system is finally starting up in a serious fashion.

TooWay is more or less the same as the existing US/Canadian WildBlue/Telesat system, using the DOCSIS modem.  The hardware is low cost as a result of the very large quantities being manufactured for this consumer level product.

I understand that around 20,000 terminals have been pre-ordered.

The mass market distributors are Bentley Walker and SwissCom, who will both now be looking to sign up local installers.

I've done a writeup here Tooway ™ Satellite

Best regards, Eric.

I've just added the TooWay ™ Ku band Eurobird 3 spot D beam (up G/T and down eirp coverages) to page Tooway satellite service
The Ka band beam from Hotbird 6 is too far West for Albania.  What size Ku band dishes are you using near the Albanian coast ?
Best regards, Eric.
