I wish to set up a satellite internet capability (email / browsing) in Antalya, coastal Med, Turkey for c25 users across 5 sites in about 1km radius (? wireless LoS links?)
to give each user a reasonably fast download/ file transfer capability ?256k? Has anyone any experience / advice on service providers / regulatory requirements/costs etc.

Any assistance gratefully received - Thanks

It sounds like we have the solution to your situation.  Our satellite platforms handle Voice Over Internet as well as internet.  Here are the statistics on our platform:

758 Kbps X 256 Kbps (1:10 User Ratio) (This means the bandwidth is shared much less, the average is 1:100 or higher)
1.5 Mbps X 768 Kbps (1:10 User Ratio)
Equipment: (This includes Antenna, Modem, BUC, and everything else you need for satellite)

With those kinds of user ratios, you might want to consider selling off some of your bandwidth within your town.  We can show you how to do that as well.
Also, let us know if you wish to become a dealer and we can show you the residuals you can make off of our systems.
If anybody else quotes you lower prices, ask them what their user ratio is, the higher, the more erratic the signal will be.  Please email me with any questions.

Please contact us at project@zaoipnet.com  - IPNet is  Hughes Network Systems operator in Russia/CIS and can get you the contact at Dexar company, HNS provider in Turkey. In order to have 2-way VSAT service in Turkey legally you need to get it from an operator with Hub actually located in Turkey. Dexar's DirecWay Hub is located in Istanbul.
