Hi everyone, we just bought an iDirect IDx 4.1.2 HUB and ULC-T and ULC-R line cards. I face a problem in bringing up carrier on ULC-T line card. when I type "tx enable" command on telnet prompt, a message "Please issue tx bs to enable burst switch" appears and we can not enable TX. Pls help solve this problem!

I don't understand "burst switch".  The spec for the iDirect ULC-T line card suggests that it only transmits one continuous carrier type DVB-S2 or DVB-S2X.

If you have the manual look for an explanation of tx bs command.

While testing and experimenting take care not to have the output radiating to a satellite!
