These text files list satellites in the geostationary Clarke orbit. They are called two line elements but are actually 3 lines, where the first line is the satellite name and the next two lines, numbered 1 and 2 comprise the important "2 line elements" data.
Note that with recent launches of multiple satellites for OneWeb and Starlink the International designator has been expanded to allow "item off the rocket" to be, for example AA meaning the 27th item.
The "U" after the satellite catalog number means "Unclassified"
The first 2 digits of the Epoch are the year and the remaining digits are the day in year number, plus 8 decimal places for fractions of a day..
Example:
ESIAFI 1 (COMSTAR 4)
1 12309U 81018A 12183.01984620 -.00000113 00000-0 10000-3 0 5679
2 12309 14.6181 0.2331 0004816 22.0780 337.9509 1.00285723116322
