Gulfsat Infrastructure: State-of-the-art TeleportAntenna FarmGulfsat has one of the region’s largest satellite antenna farms with more than 45 giant antennas. Gulfsat teleport facilities offer global satellite coverage in partnership with major satellites. Domestic Fiber infrastructureGulfsat has peered with all ISP’s through the fiber ring in Kuwait utilizing the Giga Bit Metro Ethernet network. The Earth station is also connected to the two international gateways in Kuwait through two redundant paths. First path is through FLAG and the other is through Falcon terminating in the US. International backboneGulfsat teleport is connected to the internet cloud through two fully redundant STM-1 fiber links to multiple tier-one backbone providers in the US. The Teleport has multiple types of connections to accommodate the many customer networks it serves. |
