"John Kealey Selected Via Satellite Magazine's Satellite Executive of the Year 2004"

Potomac, MD-February 25, 2005--The editors of Access Intelligence's Via Satellite magazine selected John Kealey, President and CEO, iDirect Technologies, as its Satellite Executive of the Year 2004. In its 17th year, the award honours the satellite executive who made a lasting business impact on the global satellite industry during the previous calendar year.

As its top satellite executive for 2004, Via Satellite magazine will showcase Kealey and his business accomplishments in its "Executive of the Year" cover feature in the March 2005 issue. Likewise, Kealey will present the Satellite Executive of the Year 2004 award luncheon address at this year's SATELLITE 2005 conference and exhibition on Thursday, March 24, 2005. Presented by Access Intelligence and Via Satellite magazine, the SATELLITE 2005 conference and exhibition runs March 22-25 at the Washington, D.C., Convention Centre.

Some of the most significant achievements that made iDirect stand out in 2004 was its successful product growth, doubling its revenue and Kealey's keen business philosophy that translates into a solid client/vendor relationship going beyond mere contract signing.

"Kealey materializes a business practice that negates competition on the front end. He believes the satellite industry should work together in educating a market about what specifically satellite products and services can offer, rather than cutting off the competition at the pass for short-term success and sacrificing long-term business development," said Via Satellite Editor and SATELLITE 2005 Chairman Nick Mitsis upon making the selection announcement. "In my opinion, this way of doing business made Kealey a formidable choice for Satellite Executive of the Year. In this regard, iDirect is not only a leader. It is exemplifying a course of action other companies will need to follow if they wish to succeed in the years ahead."

"This is really an honour for the entire iDirect team," said Mr. Kealey. "We have an incredibly talented group that is completely focused on what we do better than anyone else, fast, reliable, two-way, IP communications over satellite. Our dedication to customer support as well as our technological capabilities has led the industry to recognize the iDirect advantage, and the results have been phenomenal."
